The third piece in my Fall 2010 Austin series, Uncommon Objects, is now on view at Austin City Hall for one year in the annual People’s Gallery Exhibition. I’m honored to be among the other contemporary Austin artists in this prestigious show.

Uncommon Objects is a pedestrian-eye’s view of the surreal rabbit and it’s electric-lassoed rider that live above the store’s front door. To me, this store is quintessentially Austin. Funky, unique and richly interesting. If you haven’t been there – you really need to check out the store at 1512 South Congress.
